Raleigh Divorce Layers
Raleigh, home to the lawyer offices of Marshall & Taylor, has been North Carolina’s state capital since 1792. Raleigh is also the county seat of Wake County, one of the largest counties in the state. The city was named in honor of Sir Walter Raleigh, who worked to establish the first English Colony of the New World in the 1580’s. Today, Raleigh is nicknamed “The City of Oaks” because of its many oak trees. Raleigh is characterized by moderate weather in the rolling terrain of the North Carolina Piedmont region on the eastern side of the state.
Raleigh now stands as one of the oldest cities of the United States, and has developed into one of the fastest-growing cities with a 2007 population of nearly 350,000. Therefore, it is not surprising that Raleigh is home to several industrial, cultural, trade, and political centers, including lawyer and attorney offices. The Raleigh economy’s main focus is on government and education, and it is home to some of North Carolina’s top schools and universities. In fact, several of today’s lawyers and attorneys have studied in one or more of Raleigh’s schools.
