Reality television star Kate Gosselin has filed paperworkasking for child support and temporary spousal support from her ex-husband JonGosselin. Jon Gosselin was in the news recently after it was reported that hetook almost $230,000 from a joint bank account he shared with Kate Gosselin.

Mark Momjian, one of Kate’s divorce attorneys said of thefiling “[Kate] needs relief in light of the draining of substantial maritalassets in violation of the arbitrator’s decision that the money should be usedonly for specific purposes.” Momjian added that the economic issues between thecouple are being worked out with a court-appointed arbitrator.

The application for child support and temporary spousalsupport was filed last week around the same time as an emergency petitionasking a Montgomery County judge to order the return of the $230,000.

Mark Heller, attorney for Jon Gosselin, said of the petition“We are hoping in the next few days we can all do some bookkeeping, I’m prettysure this can come to a cordial resolution.”
