Jeffrey E. Marshall
Raleigh, North Carolina Attorney. Jeff's practice is limited to Family Law and Divorce matters including child custody, child support, spousal support (postseparation support and alimony), complex equitable distribution, domestic violence, adoptions and termination of parental rights.
Jeff is a member of the Wake County Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina State Bar. As a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Jeff helps to write summaries of North Carolina Court of Appeals Cases as they are published for the Association's Family Law Section Appeals Monitor Committee. Additionally, Jeff serves as President on the Board of Directors for The Child's Advocate which is a local, non-profit organization designed to ensure that Courts hear and understand a minor child's opinions in highly contested custody cases.
Jeff is licensed to practice in all State and Federal Courts as well as the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina and has represented many clients on the appellate level.
Jeff received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his J.D. from the Capital University in Columbus Ohio where he graduated with honors as a member of the Order of the Curia. Jeff then moved to North Carolina and has practiced here since 1996.
Jeff is a recognized authority on North Carolina Family Law and has been contacted by the local media for his opinions, insight and observations including an interview for UNC TV for a program on Domestic Violence, interviews by the News and Observer and an NBC-17 segment on Internet Affairs.
Jeff is a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law.
